I believe risk finance should be transparent, bounded, and structurally aligned. Babel Cover exists to prove it. We're engineering capital infrastructure that turns risk, behaviour, and resilience into one disciplined system.

WELCOME TO BABEL COVER

I started my career in 2001 and spent the next two decades at firms like Swiss Re, Marsh McLennan and Aon, structuring the capital solutions that keep the world’s largest companies covered. Along the way I saw how conventional risk finance actually works, and who it’s built for: large institutions with the scale and relationships to access it. Everyone else has mostly been shut out.

I founded Babel Cover to change that. Our mission is to open up access to insurance linked risk capital, so that smaller, non institutional participants can take part in a space that has historically been reserved for the few. Risk finance should be transparent, bounded and structurally aligned, not gated by scale or relationships.

The Capital Interface is how we do it. It gives approved Participants a structured way to provide contingent capital support to discretionary mutual collectives, built to scale across sectors. The BMIC, a discretionary mutual for motorcyclists, is the first proof of that architecture in practice, with further collectives to follow.

This is what connecting capital to risk looks like when it’s built for more than just the largest players. Welcome aboard.
